We operate a 'book on the day' system. This allows patients to telephone the surgery on the day that they wish to be seen and receive an appointment.
Telephone lines open at 8.00am and close at 6.00pm each evening. If you ring after 2.00pm you may not receive a same day appointment. We would like to encourage patients to telephone the surgery for appointments as early as possible each day.
We try to make sure you see the doctor of your choice but if they are not available we may ask you to see another doctor. The Practice can guarantee that you are able to see the GP of your choice within 4 weeks of your request.
Practice nurse appointments and specialised clinics can still be made in advance.
For telephone advice from the Practice nurse please ring between 12.00 noon -12.30pm
Obtaining Test Results
We ask you to telephone for test results (eg blood, urine, X-ray) after 2.30pm each day.
To ensure confidentiality, we only release results to the patient, or to parents of minors (under 16 years) if appropriate, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
